Top Choice Land Design has been around Austin, designing, mowing and landscaping modern homes for over 10 years. Their old logo was stale and needed to be revamped in order to properly reflect the company’s new direction.
We decided to take to leaves and minimize them, add subtle, but fresh gradients and a clean, simple, timeless modern font.
Parsimony, basically meaning to economize, was the selected company name of a local Austin business. The Investment Advisor group wanted to feature a symbol of guidance within the logo design, to convey stability and leadership.
LeftTrack is a new start up company specializing in network marketing. The owner wanted something fresh, that featured non-conventional colors. No corporate blues or stale beige. We went for it with the bold orange, but grounded it with a metal gray. The K was used as an arrow to show the direction of the name, LeftTrack in the logo design.
Green Alley Salon specializes in haircuts, color, waxing, extensions, all while minimizing their carbon footprint as much as possible. They were the first salon in Austin to feature green hairdryers which hang from the ceiling. The owner wanted to incorporate the special feature into the logo in a fun, colorful way.
V.A. Loan Center offers conventional home loan financing. We decided to maintain that message through the use of the “V and the A” acting as both letters for readability, and also for symbolism. The “A” acts as the roof of a home with its pop-red color. The military style font drives the message home.
ur Financed came to us needing a modern, clean logo design. They specialize in selling used cars to people with credit problems. They wanted to utilize a lowercase “ur” to keep it light, simple and friendly. They are growing fast and will featuring locations nationwide.
Austin Logo Designs recently met with a local business called the “small business clinic”. They are a local company hoping to help other small businesses and start ups in the Austin area. The client came to us with the concept of utilizing a lotus flower. Lotus flowers are known for growing in the mud, and coming up from nothing, but developing into exotic, beautiful flowers. They wanted to utilize the “mud gray”, yet maintain a sense of vibrancy within the illustration. We also incorporated a subtle human figure in the logo design.
